Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and the former Institute of Culinary Education instructor, is a TV personality. She hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, in her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Cook she demonstrates easy-to-master techniques, as well as her famous blonde spiky locks. Chef Burrell was employed at some of the most prestigious New York restaurants and studied Italian cuisine and environment. Additionally, she competed in Food Network's Iron Chef America. While growing up in Upstate New York, Chef Burrell developed a passion for cooking and food at the age of. She furthered her interest in the industry of restaurant management by enrolling at The Culinary Institute of America after earning a degree in English and Communications from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. According to her "I enjoyed being a Culinary Institute of America (CIA) student. I enjoyed every moment." I could not learn or be a better cook than I did. After graduating, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) as she attended the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. While in Italy made her more aware and appreciate the Italian philosophy and culture, which has had an impression on her food and culinary experience. Burrell was a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which improves the lives of kids who face obstacles and is also a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Celebrity Ambassador. she is an advocate for children with diabetes and awareness. She travels frequently around the country in her role as a mentor and the guest speaker who discusses her profession and her love for cooking. Anne said she felt lucky that I could communicate her love of cooking to the people around her.
